When they attached the strap to the statue, cops should have come down on them like the hammer of Thor but the new strategy appears to be let them do what ever the hell they want 'till they burn themselves out and leave.

This has been a hot topic here. The city po-po said they would not intervene because it was county property; the county did not intervene because...well, they never gave a good answer. The LE community have been raked over the coals for this. Since this event, four people have been arrested, LE says they are looking at a couple others.

Everyone has been calling out those protestors/vandals...black, white, Latino...they are such a minority and the town, for as liberal as it is, really took them for task for their methods.

You were very very close.... We should have known it would have actually come from sweetness Lindsey Graham.

"Publicity seeking Lindsey Graham falsely stated that I said there is moral equivalency between the KKK, neo-Nazis & white supremacists ... and people like Ms. Heyer. Such a disgusting lie. He just can't forget his election trouncing. The people of South Carolina will remember!" Trump tweeted.
Graham on Wednesday said Trump's reaction to the violence was dividing the country, saying he made a "moral equivalency" between white supremacists who attended the weekend rally and Heather Heyer, a 32-year-old woman who was killed after being hit by a car allegedly driven by a man with far-right views.

"I, along with many others, do not endorse this moral equivalency," Graham said. "Many Republicans ... will fight back against the idea that the Party of Lincoln has a welcome mat out for the David Dukes of the world."

The Left has to be giddy now. The RINOs are doing their dirty work for them. They are probably clamoring to get some face time on Meet The Depressed this weekend so they can say... Well Lindsey Graham and John Kasich said..... Two of the biggest twerps in the entire GOP.

In response to the event in Durham, NC, attorneys representing those arrested have asked that all charges be dropped. There continue to be protests at the site, but if the news didn't cover it, it would fizzle out. The irony of the sign the guy is holding in the link below, "Tear down white supremacy," is that our mayor and most of the city council is/has been black, for a long time. The police chief is black. Not a whole lot of credibility that the town is holding them back.

Since 1948 the Richmond Mayor has been a Democrat. Many have been black. Several got into questionable legal situations, some had to leave office.

Pretty sure it's a not a statue from the Civil War that's causing the problem. But the current young black Mayor is now afraid of statues so.......

That is not what they are talking about when they say "Tear down white supremacy". These people view capitalism, democracy and in the United States of America as white supremacy and think that it can not thrive with out them. They literally want to tear down everything that the U.S. was founded on and stood for.
If you can't win a gun fight against a lightly-trained individual during broad daylight with 88 rounds of 30-06, I'm not sure you'd be able to do it with... any other firearm.

These Bozo's have already damaged a statue called the "Peace Statue" that was built to celebrate the end of the Civil War and to promote peace.

Well, Durham has geared up over the past 20+ years to help them achieve that goal. My point in pointing out the demographics of the elected/appointed officials is that Durham has just about enabled them as much as they possible can. They ain't getting a friendlier group people who can affect change.

They do not understand the chess match, they are literally biting the hands that feed them.

They aren't here to play chess, they are here to flip the board over.

    Yep!

For those that don't have point of reference. The Dems are basically a criminal organization. Breaking public property, infringing rights, whatever, it makes no difference. They, in their minds, can do no wrong. Laws don't apply them and rights don't apply to those that confront them.

Mayor of Richmond = Levar Stoney. He has zero history other than being a criminal. He was a Dem party foot soldier. Now he's a Mayor.

This is pretty fast read to show you how closely tied Stoney, McCauliffe are tied. Of course you know Tim Kaine is in that same crime family and connected to Hillary. It's really one big crime family under the guise of being a public servant.

... and her is little more of Terry McCauliffe's lying. The State Police are now calling him on it.

It's not that these Liberals are simply ignorant hypocrites, they are driven criminals as well. They will -gladly- lie, cheat, steal, or commit various other crimes in order to force their wishes on the citizens.
