You know what.......I didn't want to comment in this thread for a few reasons but I will say this:

You are all being sold manufactured outrage and chaos and a lot of you (the general you, as in the American people) are buying it part and parcel.

20 years ago nobody cared about any of this. Nobody cared about flags or statues.

Crises are beig created and exploited. I don't mean the Alex Jones "false flag" BS. I mean the same professional agitators on both the far left and right who make this their day job.

Anything to get in the news. Any small "victory" to snub 'the other side'.

I, for one, find it highly relevant at the lack of sheer outrage over our police in any state catching 5.45 in their backs from the public. These are people with lives paid to protect you. Motorcades and closing chik fil a for a day are not enough. Who cries for them?

What should have been a sobering moment for our country has been forgotten.

Yes....you can police perfectly and do everything right and still die....or be murdered.

Some of you may lace up to go ride a desk and drink coffee. Others yet go ride a ghetto.

These people don't care about you. Don't care about your family. Don't care about much.

All they see is a uniform and someone they think they can take without much of a fight. People unprepared. People who don't believe it.

I for one think that our POTUS and government are not doing enough. I think people are bending to the short term will of the strong arms of the loudmouths

Appeasement never works. Frankly, I've been pretty ashamed of the public. Everything degenerates into a schoolyard brawl. There is no conversation or discourse. Just shouting, violence, and inflammatory rhetoric.

Everybody can be scared if they want to. Not me. I lived this long and plan to live longer still. As free as I can and as happy as I can.

On a more personal note, and these are my words; Eurodriver knows my vocation and was not only a perfect gentleman, friendly, and the hallmark of maturity. He treated me the other day. He is highly supportive of our working men and women in blue.. He is one of the good guys. And some of you don't even know it

Furthermore, in MY words, I think police nationwide are not putting in the training or are playing political hot potato.

I worked some protests iny day based on the School of the Americas and racial unrest. And there were counter protestors thinking they were "helping" but cussing at the hippies or Fruit of Islam and NAACP.

Everyone was kept segregated, arrests(there's always going to be arrests) were efficient, and nobody herded a volatile bunch near another volatile bunch.

A lot of police chiefs, sheriffs, and state AGs in this country need a new damn job. Straight up. Now is the time for the Officer's Admin....NOT the Mayor's.

Destruction is destruction and once something is gone; you never get it back.

I have seen a lot taken from US, the average American, in the last 17 years. I know I will either be dead or too old before any of it comes back.

And that's all I have to say about it.

There was a product in search of a buyer. It wouldn't have mattered if they were Chinese, Zulu, or Irish.
If someone had/has cheap labor for sale, there was/will be, a buyer there to buy, sell and trade for that labor force.
It is irrelevant of what part of history we are speaking of, yesterday, a millennium ago or tomorrow.
The irony to me is that there is a culture of, an entire mentality that wont allow the great grandchildren of those former Slaves to be successful and get past their history of Slavery.

The Alt-Left did an occupy City Hall in C'Ville yesterday. They are pissed with city hall for not protecting them.

Two very interesting comments caught on tape and vid most likely. I've only heard it so far.

1. The only people doing protecting were the "medics". That's the second or third time I have heard the Antifa Alt Left over emphasize the "medics" that were present. I'm not sure how they are playing that' Is it to take focus off the attack squad and bring focus to someone most would consider a good thing. Join us and you are protected? I can't figure it out, but they are very focused on letting everyone know they have medics. Not sure what that message is.

2. One questioned why so many extra security at the city hall meeting? Great question. We all know it's because they know the Antifa Alt Left are crazy dangerous but surely city Hall can't be heard admitting that.

So the Political Dems are getting caught with their blind eye turned AND Antifa Alt Left is ready to poke them in their good eye. I don't think that's the situation anyone was thinking of when they seek blind justice.

So now the Dems have a new fight on their hands and they are doing the bidding for the very people that are attacking them. It shows you how over exuberant the Alt Left is. Even as they are winning, they go overboard because winning isn't enough. They want a fight, all day and all night.

I don't know what left leaning mayor told the Boston LE, but clearly allowed to do the job, unlike Berkley, this recent event, and others. The Dems using Antifa et al as a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" as proxies to push their agenda will come back to bite them in the ass per what you wrote, and they'll figure it out when it's too late. The right does not view Nazi's nor KKK, etc as useful proxies at least in any real sense, other than to allow them to expose the hypocrisy of the left who only supports free speech they agree with.
