Trijicon TA44 1.5x ACOG With ACSS Review

I've been working, along with the folks at Primary Arms and Trijicon, for over a year to make an idea I had while using the original TA44 years ago happen. IMO, the most limiting factor with the original TA44 is the reticle; at distance it was very difficult to engage targets quickly but the new ACSS version fixes that. In my review below I state that I'd only taken mine out to 330/350 yards but last week I had a chance to shoot it at 500 and it was spot on there as well.

    Pros:
    -lightweight
    -durable
    -uber clear glass
-reticle greatly increases capability of the optic
    -common mounts available
-free shipping and a free mount when you use the links in the video description
-red and green reticles available currently
-high and low (for AKs, ARX100s, etc...) mounting options available
-folks with astigmatism won't have issues with it like they do with red dots

    Cons:
    -cost

    Great review as always.

I wish I could use one before a sell a T2 to fund one of these things. My stupid eyes a pretty picky about what's useable.

I think that I have found my new optic for my SBR!

I love the ACSS reticle that I have in my 1-6X scope and 2.5X prismatic scope.

[I] bought a TA44 years ago for my wife. I've always liked it and if I was to purchase another this would be it.

Green your preference? Seems it would be brighter in all lighting conditions. Thoughts?

There are a ton of threads with great data here and elsewhere on the topic but I personally prefer green. That said, red works too.
