    Ammo question for Conn residents

I have a guy wanting to buy a few tins of surplus 7.62x54 (Mosin Nagant) ammo from me. I'm in PA a and he's coming down from Conn. The ammo is surplus FMJ. Can he legally buy it? Can I sell it to him? If he shows me how DL or CCW is it ok?

As long as the sale is happening outside of CT, CT laws do not apply, you only need a LTC, Long gun cert, or ammo cert to buy ammo when in state. No rules on transporting back or possessing aside from a couple stipulations on AP ammo.

As long as it is legal to sell in where you are IMHO you are good to go.

Very few if any states require ID to purchase ammo. As was mentioned, the purchase is taking place in PA not in CT.
