Load data on 69/75gr TMK's?

I love the 77 TMK. XBR 8208 has been the best powder so far by a considerable margin. 23.2 to 23.5gr is what I'm running in LC brass with Wolf SRM or Rem 7 1/2 primers depending on the gun. In 2 bolt action Savages I run the same loads in Lapua brass.

2/3 MOA is doable in my WOA AR, closer to 1/3 MOA in one of the savage bolt action. 1/2 MOA in the other. I have shot over 570 in F-Class practice when the wind cooperated. Perfects at 300 are routine, 600 not so much. The G1 .420 is overstated.

Nosler 80gr CCs are a heck of a cheap bullet out to 600, if you will single load.

2.255" is what I use. I get a crunch but that load has shot 4" groups at 600 yards consistently for me, and does very well at 1000. I use CCI 450s but otherwise mirror what billy does above.

Thanks. That is what I use with the TMK and generally 2.250 with the SMK. I have been loading 23.2grs 8208 with the TMK and 23.5 with the SMK. I am not sure if I will continue with the 8208 as TAC has been working very well.

If the two, the 69 gr bullet is the winner because of speed and case capacity. TAC is the powder you are looking for. Start at 24.0 gr and you can work up to almost 26.0 before the pressure signs start in my experience. Use CCI 450s and Lake City brass. Seat them at 2.255". You will find a node.

I’d like to play around with tac as I know it meters great. But I don’t have the time to develop a new load. I also don’t have the time to weigh every single charge with 8208 so I’m unsure which is the better route!

I don't have any issues running XBR through a Hornady powder meter. My load for 77gr TMK is 23.4 XBR.

You can probably get it dialed in in one range session. TAC meters great through my progressive. I'd be shooting lots of 69 TMKs if it weren't for SMKs being available in bulk seconds at Sedalia.
