Hopefully we can head to Texas for the 2024 total eclipse. Better yet, I hope to be living in Texas by then

Hell, the BBQ is actually the main reason I want to move there. The eclipse would be a side benefit

If you are here in 2024 look me up. We can smoke a brisket and watch the eclipse. SS you are invited too.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one

A wise choice! October 14th, 2023 will see an annular eclipse rip through Texas as well.

Yeah I thought of that scene from Apocalypto as well.

My wife and her co-workers all had glasses furnished by their employer and went outside to see the signs and wonders.

I told her that through out recorded history this isn't something that is looked upon as a joyous occasion but usually a harbinger of sorrow.

    Photoshopped, but pretty badazz nonetheless.

Figure our former paratroopers would like it.

I took a compact mirror that I used electrical tape to make a 1/4 inch apetature and put it down the driveway about 75 feet. It projected an image of the eclipse so I could sit in a reclinging chair and chill.

Beats looking like a moron with a box on your head or goofy glasses.
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.
