Spartan Ar500 Shooters Cut or Swimmers Cut

I've got enough cash saved up to grab one of the Spartan Ar500 plate and carrier deals. I can't decided between the shooters cut or the swimmers cut. Does anybody have experience with either, and which one do you like more for shouldering a rifle and sighting your pistol.
I'm a little concerned that bringing the pistol up to sight with the shooters cut may be an issue with getting around the cut of the plate.
I'm a 40-41 chest if that helps. I'm also female so I don't know if that would make a difference in the cut and fit.

    I'm considering these three:

^^Should I make the upgrades if I go with this?

    Thanks in advance!

Being a woman I'm not sure if the cut is going to be the most important decision. My wife is a small woman but she needs triple curve plates to wear for an extended period of time. I'd imagine most ladies would have a similar issue.

Oh, I would have never thought about that. That's a pretty good point. Is your wife using a shooter's cut? Does she have any issues shouldering a rifle, or sighting the pistol with her armor? If you don't mind asking I'd love to here back. And thanks!

My wife uses the rifle rated version of these plates, I couldn't find the direct link to them http://www.galls.com/paraclete-femal...002115&PMSRCH=
She chose the shooters cut rather than a swimmers cut. The swimmers left a lot of exposed area but made shouldering a rifle easier but she wanted the extra coverage. The problem you might have is even if you try a plate on it might be comfortable initially but if you're wearing it for hours it might be uncomfortable.

You didn't mention the threat level you were looking to protect against which should help narrow down the best fitting plates for you.

I'm in an urban environment. I'm not in law enforcement. It would just be for SHTF use, training courses and range wear. So I won't be wearing it for anything but those occasions. I've got a budget of about $280 give or take. That's why I was looking at the Spartan ar500. It seems to fit my price range and protect against a good range of calibers. I'll definitely get the triple curve, and the extra fragmentation coating. Which now leaves me with these two option because the others don't have the triple curve:

    or

    Neither have side protection.
Any thoughts or other options to consider?

For the price both should work, I'd go shooters cut but that's just me. You can always add side plates later when funds permit.
