    What pistol lower?

I am going to build my first AR pistol and I am curious if there is anything I need to be aware of with buying a lower?

    Thanks

This is what I am considering.

I have an Anderson in a few. Honestly, it's what components you use that makes the difference more than anything.

If you go with most reputable manufacturers (Aero Precision, BCM, Daniel Defense, etc) you shouldn't run into any problems. Whether you're building a rifle or pistol, fit and finish will vary depending on the make. I have a Tactical Machining and BCM pistol lowers mated with BCM pistol uppers and never had issues. Also spend some time reviewing the info on this site when it comes to barrel length and ammunition types.

Reputable mfgr is a must. Stripped lowers are easy button due to "issues with being configured a rifle"

I have a seeking forged lower. My anderson lower is ok, but i checked it to a print with a caliper before i paid for it. Some of their qc standards are no bueno.

Considering you can get gen 2 Aeros for $48 shipped right now, hard to justify anything else in my opinion.

Wow. Where? It's worth buying just to have on hand.

E-arms.com I ordered two from them. Schuyler has Gen 2s for $45, Spikes for $50, and FDE Aero Gen 2 for $55. I ordered 4 from him. These aren't blems either. So yes, I have purchased like 9 stripped lowers in the last 3 months.
