And with the way he's performing right now, it's not a bad hire. Right "coaching tree" and proven.

Dabo Swinney is a stall up guy for sure.

After losing to Syracuse Friday night when he and Dino Babers (SU's head coach) met at midfield embracing in a genuine man hug, Dabo told Babers "I'm so happy for you". Later after both teams were in their respective locker rooms, Dabo went into SU's locker room to talk to them and congratulate them for their win. When asked after the game about the big upset, he said SU out coached, outplayed and wanted it more then we did....I'm happy for them, no excuses!

A lot can be said of how a man reacts when things don't go his way. Dabo's a good dude in my book.

Dabo's incredible. We all thought the administration was insane to make a WR coach the interim head coach when they fired Tommy Bowden, but clearly someone knew something. Clemson has one of the highest graduation rates for a football program, and they've obviously found a lot of success on the field. He makes a point of raising up men, not just football players. We're fortunate to have him as a head coach.

Clemson can still make the playoffs, but they have to win out, including the ACC championship. We have a bye week coming up, so hopefully everyone can get some rest and our QB can recover.

Yeah, if Clemson can get Kelly Bryant back to form they should be fine.

    Big games this weekend.

Louisville at Florida State (maybe not big, could be a good one though).
    (10) Oklahoma State at Texas.
    (9) Oklahoma at Kansas State.
    (19) Michigan at (2) Penn State.
    (11) USC at (13) Notre Dame.

Louisville and Florida State. Two stinkers. Whoever chooses to willfully watch this game is doing so because there is simply nothing better to do. I saw Florida State play live last weekend, I will say their D line is big and athletic.

    Penn State/Michigan will be good

Penn St. has a tough few weeks ahead of them. Michigan this week, Ohio St. next week, Michigan St. the week after that. Think they'll come through it 3-0?

It is a brutal stretch. If they do, they are legit #2 with a good case for #1.

Little over an hour until my team gets dismantled by Bama.

And Jones is still employed this AM...

However, lot of smoke surrounding his firing and possible replacement coaches. Allegedly, the BOT have given the green light and open checkbook to make a splash hire when Jones is fired.
