    And Ruger will not tell you if the bore is .308 or .311. Sure would be nice to know what bullet to use, wouldn't it?

    Someone in the comments of one of the press releases said he called Ruger and they said 311.

    Yup. I have the .223/5.56mm version, and it is scary accurate. When I finally see one of these, it is coming home with me.

    I've got roughly 35 rounds through mine now and it's very satisfying to shoot! Real handy size too, I am running a cheapish 3x9 scope and using mini 30 20 rounders, 0 malfunctions, smooth bolt operation without dropping my cheek weld, great accuracy with hornady and wolf, tula is not horrible but not as consistent. You even have a bolt hold back after the last round with the mini mags, anyone looking for a handy accurate soft recoiling rifle in x39 grab one of these!
