The switch block is a nice design.
It allows two independently adjustable ports.
The only thing it doesn't do is extend the actual gas port location for suppressed use.

I've seen a pic of two SB on one barrel. The switch was drilled out on the rear one so the gas tube went through from the front one.
No idea if or how well it runs.
