    Colt 11.5 Hvy Barrel & Knights RAS

    Looking to get some feedback on if this "combo" would work together? Thanks

    Colt 11.5 5.56 Heavy Barrel

    ( SP401757 )
    This is a NEW (not a take off or cut down) Colt 11.5" Heavy Barrel (FBI HRT special order) 5.56 1/7 twist chrome lined barrel. HPT/MPI Tested with an M4 barrel extension and F marked FSB. Includes a barrel nut and handguard cap.

    I can remember failing to get a RAS on a damned SIONICs 11.5. It depends on the diameter behind the FSB.

    Not really, other than, maybe making a MK18 clone?

    The RAS was innovative for it's own time. For now though, I'd rather look towards the possible URX offerings.

    The RAS M4 does fit the FBI HRT heavy barrels.

    I didnt think they did until I was shown otherwise this weekend. Up till then, I thought the RAS II was the only option.
