I didnt think they did until I was shown otherwise this weekend. Up till then, I thought the RAS II was the only option.

Correct...I see they are now backordered.

There is a site, Gundeals, IIRC? They have them dirt cheap sans fsb.

The 11.5" FBI HRT HBAR barrels are the same profile as SOCOM. (wow, talk about initials) The only difference is the SOCOM has the cuts for the M203 grenade launcher. If you are not launching grenades, then the Colt FBI HBAR will do just fine. Also, we know that the M4 RAS fits over the SOCOM barrel, so all is good.

Not a commercial, but I have a few barrels for sale, with and without FSB, if anyone is looking. I hope that is okay to say that here.

Talking with @mildot on email, and over on SnipersHide. Let me repeat my comments:

1) The profile of this barrel under the handguards is identical to the SOCOM profile, without the M203 cuts. We know from the M4 Block 1 that the SOCOM barrel fits inside the M4 RAS;

2) I have included pics, both of the SOCOM and FBI barrel next to each other, and also of the KAC RAS on the FBI barrel.

3) drool.

How much are you asking for the 11.5 hbar with FSB?

it is a great barrel. Not sure why I sat up thinking about it. But, what better barrel could there be in an SBR format ?
