I am getting ready to purchase an 11.5" BCM Upper and wasn't sure whether the Govt profile or ELW profile would be a better option for a suppressor (AAC SDN6). I will mainly run it without the can, but when I do throw it on I wasn't sure if one profile would under perform or hold up better when a can is being used.

Seriously buy the Sionics reduced gas port barrel. It runs great withOUT a can and makes a can a pleasure to shoot. Read up and consider that option.
