That's it I want one, I've been looking for a ranch/brush gun since seeing some big cat prints on the property out west...
Very cool!
I’ve been wanting to find one and mount my can on it.
Everybody wants too much for their Marlins out here.
I heard that Marlin was making factory threaded rifles now. That'd be an easier option.
As an update, the Rainier bullets work awesome.

Expanding subs are expensive but effective. However SMKs or equivalent will do the job without any expansion. The key is loading to achieve an accurate load around 1000 fps.
Bullets are barely stabilized at these velocities and upon impact will tumble and yaw to create a different type of devastating wound channel.
It'll look like you threw a hatchet or machete through the critter on the exit side. I've shot 10 or so meat deer with loads like this and the furthest they went was 40 yds with most under 20. Note: my version of meat deer are for early or late season doe-not rutting bucks.
Do load work without the can and then verify bullet stability at about 5ft into paper ensure no baffle strikes.
Cool!
I'd love to have something like this. Only with the barrel cut to 16 inches and in .357 or .44 magnum. More range friendly, heavier bullets that can be kept sub-sonic, and would hold another couple rounds in the shortened magazine tube.
Awesome! I assume subsonic rounds was used for the deer hunt?
