    Engraved dust covers?

Whats everyone's opinion on having an engraved dust cover?

I'm thinking of getting one that is engraved on the inside of the cover with "6.5" on the left and "GRENDEL" on the right, are these tacky or do you think it makes your AR look too busy?

I'm undecided, what do you think?

Paint pen or a label would accomplish the same thing, neither will look like you're in the fashion/lifestyle crowd

i don't have any because i haven't found any with designs that suited my liking. I'd probably go for one if there was just a design that i liked.

TBH, as long as you don't have one of those ridiculous rifles that have 13 different airsoft accessories hanging off of it (we all know what those rifles look like) no one is going to care. Do what you like. That's my opinion anyway.

Mine are all covered with spray paint.
In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.

Stupid as hell...99.99% of the time...
But your description sounds like it has a purpose so, if it helps keep wrong ammo out of the gun, it's good.

"Infidel" "badass" "surprise cock-fag" punisher skulls... no.
    Not even ever.

As most of my rifles were/are working guns that's the last thing I wanted. Kind of like the covers on Glocks. I was completing a build for a friend last week and came across one of the Noveske ones from way back in my tool/parts box. It's been there for years and will probably stay there.
