Your picture illustrates a perfect point - if the cockfag you are shooting at can read your dust cover, you are in deep doo doo. Likewise, if my buddies see it and get a chuckle, that means they aren't taking care of business.

    It is a dilemma.

A better method of relaying your disdain for the guy you are shooting at might be to wear a CCW Sash with 'surprize cockfag' or 'pork, the other white meat' on it.

I do like the idea of one for my 300 Blackout and 6.5 Grendel, although I know which is which.

Not my bag unless indicating chambering or special load restrictions (like slower twists that top out at 62gr), personally; while I try to make each of my builds a piece of artwork, the art is in the function other than keeping a generally consistent "look" from stem to stern.

But to each their own; if bling is your thing have at it, just let me be me and do my thing my own way in return.

Or a Bacon Edition Pmag, if only MagPul would MAN UP and make some rather than punk us with an April Fool's joke.

The c-clip is a 1/8in low-clearance external crescent clip (lotta words there)

    Brownell's has a handy tool: http://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-to...prod59847.aspx

I have one, but somehow I don't think I paid that much.

This is the same tool, for less, but I still don't think I paid that much: https://www.amazon.com/Rotor-Clip-30.../dp/B00PB9XKM0

Here is a more inexpensive version, 3mm = 1/8 inch:

Or you could just do what I did until I got the nifty Rotorclip Tool - small screwdriver and dental picks to remove, tiny needle nose to install.

Big fan. Engraved dust covers are nice and inexpensive parts for personalization. But it's not something others would notice unless they were purposely looking for it. All my rifles have it replaced except for the two with Vltor recievers. Bent a small punch trying to get the pin out and gave up. Guess Vltor is not a fan of engraved dust covers.

Great, the one I am thinking of replacing is on a Noveske marked Vltor MUR.
