    M&P compact conversion

Contemplating converting my (gen 1) 40c to 9mm, I know it’s easy but is it as reliable as factory? This is my primary carry so reliability is primary concern.

Sell it and buy the factory 9mm, for EDC, I would not trust a conversion. YMMV

My storm lake conversion has been 100% on a full sized.

Treat it like a new gun, if mine go 500 troubke free rounds I call it good.

Mine has gone through a about 2000-2500, most of which was suppressed.

That said, if I was doing it over, I’d go KKM.

Worst case, it’s not reliable and you shoot 9mm at the range and carry 40.
