Geissele Complete Rifle VSASS & MDM 17 Super Night Owl Suppressors

    VSASS by Geissele Automatics

This is out 49 min ago so not sure if already posted here. I could not see it anywhere. Being a dedicated customer of anything Geissele and firm believer in their quality, I can only imagine the quality of Geissele complete rifles as well as Geissele suppressors.

"VSASS is currently only for government clients. Right now, demand is very high for their products and it was developed for a very specific purpose. However, I expect we’ll eventually see a commercial rifle from Geissele Automatics, even if it’s not this one."

8 weeks to design and construct. And I bet it runs like a banshee.
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand

That's a bad rifle. Are the optic mounts with the picatinny rail going to be available separately? I'd be in for one for sure.

Thanks for posting. I'm unlikely to see this elsewhere.
I'd consider buying a civilian version for a large frame AR.

Knowing Geissele's quality standards, I'm sure it runs like a sewing machine. I like the heavy duty (replaceable) cam pin track and the way the upper receiver mates to the rail.

This is an amazing entry. I suspect it will go nowhere in this rifle, but sets the stage for Bill to compete in a big way for the new 6.5 CSASS. I think much like Remington lost the M110 to Knights, but later won the M2010. What is impressive is the newness of design. Yes, Bill built upon the SR25 or M110 Knights platform, but this is genuinely new stuff. Reinforced larger upper, different bolt metals. a long rail, and then there is the LaRue 845 like rail, I mean mount. Geez, you could mount an M16 on top of the optic. And the optic! What genius to pick a Steiner 3-15x, and make it RAL8000-ish to compete with S&B.

    Love it.

Odd that it does not have a Vortex

This is something I will definitely love to see come to the civilian market!
