    M193 Comparable BDC for ACOG

Does anyone have pic or numbers for a close approximation of the BDC marks on a TA33 or TA44 using M193, not M855?

    Thank You

You need to shoot this in your gun with your ammo at your elevation in your conditions.

That said, I believe mine were always about 1 MOA above POA til about 500/600 and then it drops more than M855.

I'm 99% sure unless you have the RCO model of the TA31 that they're built around 55gr 223. You can email trijicon and they'll tell you height over bore velocity etc etc that they built it around. I did it for my VCOG.

Thanks to both of you. Is the point of the chevron supposed to be zeroed at 100? Bottom of chevron is 200?

Ahh yes. I forgot this. I have the RCO models which are zeroes for M855.

What model acog do you have OP?

Yes top tip of chevron is 100m and crotch I’d chevron is 200

FYI, per a recent email exchange with Trijicon, the TA31F (non RCO-M4 or RCO-M16) is built around a 16" barrel shooting 62gr M855 at 2,800fps.

    MOA subtensions below;

Tip Of Chevron is your 100 Meter marker.
    T. O. C. to 200 *cut out/underside of chevron point* = 2.0
    T. O. C to 300 post = 4.4
    T. O. C to 400 post = 7.8
    T. O. C to 500 post = 12.6
    T. O. C to 600 post = 18.7
    T. O. C to 700 post = 26.4
    T. O. C to 800 post = 35.8

I stand corrected. But for the OP I would still email trijicon and find out.

Search for "Bartholomew_Roberts Big ACOG BDC Chart" on Google. You may be surprised. That being said, it is a standard day with paper numbers. BDC's are great for getting close enough, but shouldn't be considered anything other than that.

My BCO has the same BDC as an ACOG supposedly, and I shoot within MOA out to 300 from a 14.5" barrel with 55gr, in low at 400m and 9" low at 500 IIRC.
