    WPR 280

I recently acquired about 8 pounds of wpr 280 powder. I believe this is old military surplus powder. It is all in sealed metal bottles with the with the above designation on a sticker.

Can anyone identify this powders commercial equivalent?

I've done some Googling but can't turn up much information. My limited research suggests 5 grains of this might make a good 9 millimeter load.

I spoke with one of the customer reps at Hodgon. He confirmed that this is a mil surplus pistol powder. He had no other info.

I have a decent amount of this stuff. Im going to treat it like Bullseye and load up some 9mm. I would hate to not make use of it
