The owner is a friend of mine, and I don't think he would have been able to price match as Mega Arms is no longer in business making their own marked uppers or lowers. They were bought out, and the designs were slightly changed, and remarked with the new company name. As you may be able to guess, prices didn't get lower when this happened.

If you like Mega, buy up what is left on the shelves.

I hate to say it, but I was at Walmart looking for 38 ammo for my new/ old Model 10 and Model 64 S&Ws, and with their prices on 9mm ammo, I can't see buying online in bulk right now.

Under $90 for the below 500 rounds. .

PS- Anyone who knows decent prices on 38 training ammo (cheap stuff) please let me know and/ or post it here!

It must be cool to have friends in the business -work in it too, I suppose. I was bummed when Mike over at BDL told me Zev bought em out. Prices went up, rollmark cool factor went down.

Also, I have a small Mega stockpile going haha.

Too bad they don't carry any of the Good Stuff in .45 or 5.56... if they did, it'd make that particular form of Retail Hell just a little more tolerable. Just as an aside, Stick, is it fair to ask if you've heard anything about what the .45 guys in our AO are loading? I know most agencies switched from Gold Dot to HST a while back... I'm still carrying GD's mainly because I haven't done an adequate job of rotating stock and dumbass me threw out the box with the lot-number data on the brick of HST's I picked up.

Here is some .38. As low as 26 cents a round. Before shipping.

If anyone can source it cheaper, let me know. I could use some more.

I can't blame them for selling the company. The idea of owning a business is to make money.
