"Some" of the reasons I feel LB is worth every penny spent:
    - Frame & Slide material & fit
    - Barrel (aka KART)
    - Frame High cut "profile" under the trigger guard

No frills, definitely a workhorse, wear nice, I dont mind treating it the same as anything polymer, Bottomfeeder beater . . . I've had a few over the years, all shot great. I always tell Friends/Family to save a little more and get a Les Baer or . . . Colt Series 70 & Send it off to get some work done to their preference.

Baers are worth the asking price.

It beats buying something that is "almost" what you wanted, and never really being totally satisfied. I don't make a lot of money, and while I have been shooting 1911s for more than a couple decades, when it came time to buy a high end gun, I opted for a Baer. One of the primary reasons was the 1.5" @ 50 yard accuracy guarantee that only Baer was offering. Frankly I think it was hard earned money that was well spent.

I ended up getting a PII 1.5" then later having it customized to suit my tastes/needs. If I never bought another 1911, I would be quite content with my old Colts, and this tack driving Baer:
