What was also surprising were how many didn’t have sights....or just a front sight (assume flat top with fixed front).

As I expected the security guard was in the hallway from the start and there were multiple people at the elevator shortly after the shooting started. The door to the stairs was screwed shut from the inside, and also covered before the shooting stopped.

Seems they had plenty of reason to say single shooter with confidence.

Nah, they were just there for show. Notice BATFE just decided they want to pursue a ban on devices that "accelerate" trigger pulls. Now once that door is opened they can regulate cyclic rates of fire since bumpstocks are after all- semi auto only. That to me says it was all part of the plot, the government didn't even wait for the investigation to be completed and they are already wanting to ban semi-auto's essentially.

The audio of the incident certainly suggests something more than a Giessele (sp?) trigger group.

Here's the comment section about ATF's proposed ban. They'll decide after the comment period if they are going to ban items that increase cyclic rate for semi-auto firearms. Several videos on youtube discussing this matter. This is the slippery slope.
