Bad guys could be using multiple contacts for obtaining weapons. Paddock could have simply been one link in their supply chain.

If he was a gun-runner then logically he would buy stuff, sell it quickly, and buy more. Flip inventory, keep it moving.

Given the total lack of background on "Paddock" and his supposed "brother" who appears to be an identical twin with severe nervous ticks, I'm skeptical that "Paddock" is a real name of a real person involved in this shooting. Not to mention that claimed $5M income from claimed video poker gambling. Simply not plausible and I'm sure that the IRS knows that also, but may not be directed to care if they get the calculated income tax from the claimed income.

And it's odd that ISIS keeps claiming him as a "soldier" and to my knowledge hasn't changed their story. Not sure if they've ever claimed falsely to be responsible for a shooting (I've heard both claims on radio shows).

So here's my scenario: for whatever reason (he's been radicalized or he just wants more gambling money), Mr. Shooter agrees to meet ISIS reps at Mandalay for huge arms sale. ISIS reps instead go all jihadi on him, off him in the first ten minutes, do the shooting, and leave.

Hole in the theory: Why didn't they take the guns?

Answer: Witnesses reported multiple shooters. Police forensics will confirm multiple guns. If ISIS reps had taken the guns it would have confirmed there were multiple shooters, widening the investigation. Funny how Paddock is still the only suspect even with all this other info out there. ISIS reps live to fight another day and the police, prosecutors, and media get to wrap this up neatly with "their" perp dead and they don't have to face months of not finding the "real" shooters or answering questions as to how a bunch of jihadis got into a hotel room, etc. Why haven't we seen any video of Mr. Shooter anywhere in the hotel? Could it be he's not alone much of the time? Could it be that unnamed individuals would be in the video with him? I just hope somehow it's being kept a secret so the shooters think they've gotten away while the FBI hunts them down. I know, "Dorothy, wake up."

I don't think this guy was an islam convert, more like a FBI/BATFE CI. The feds probably popped him on some tax stuff or coming back from a sex tourism holiday in the islands and gave him a choice of either being a stooge or going to club fed for a long time, at his age probably the rest of his life. The FBI and CIA have a history of using such people caught in such circumstances to do their bidding. Check out the rabbit hole that is Bob Fletcher, nothing to do with the 1 October attack but it shows how the government recruits unsuspecting Americans who have international business connections to assist in "national security" interests.

As for the guns left behind, if this was a sting to catch an ISIS sleeper cell acquiring small arms for a Mumbai / Nairobi style attack on the strip and they caught wind to the fact their arms dealer was in fact a CI they could have popped him, carried out an easy attack on site considering the venue, and walked out during the chaos. Small arms are disposable for such actors so no need to lug them out in public and catch the heat. Live to martyr another day and all that.

All the guns were purchased legally. Most or all of the guns used were purchased more recently. Doesn't sound like much of a gun runner to me.

All the guns in Project Gun Walker and Fast and Furious were legal firearms purchased legally and then illegally trafficked to Mexico.

And about the same time he buys all the guns he started asking for rooms overlooking outdoor concerts. Why?

When this story first broke, the media was reporting he had booked rooms like this overlooking concerts or other outdoor venues in Chicago particular he had a room overlooking the Lollapalooza music festival.

Most will look at these as "dry runs" and they may very well have been or they could have been places he has conducted such stings for the feds before. Loud outdoor venues close to busy luxury hotel resorts make for good crowd cover to conduct illicit activities.

I'm curious as to what his BAC (blood alcohol content) was. how many drinks he was served inside the casino and where the casino tapes are.
Maybe the "dry" run and the event in Vegas were fueled in part by alcohol.
Drank until he had enough liquid courage, fueled by alcohol he began and was too intoxicated to continue the carnage?

Good catch. An underlying aspect of this is that the casino is hiding things that make it liable in a thousand lawsuits. People realize correctly that there is a conspiracy, but they need to stop at the point where it's just people covering their asses from losing millions in settlements, court fees, etc.

Surely no coincidence, last years F1 in Austin had no metal detectors jump to this years 2017 F1 USGP we saw metal detectors installed and at times you may have to pass through two checkpoints (two searches, two metal detectors) to enter the venue.
I do mean this sincerely that I can see adding this kind of security measure to this big of an event with everything that's happened in the world in the past year. However interestingly I thought of this 4chan/Reddit conspiracy predicting it from the closed LV Mandalay Bay thread.
