I called Brownells about the M4 lowers and was told mid November expected arrival date.
Good news.

Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.
I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...

Yes one of my three looked pretty bad on the inside. That was the first one I stripped using denatured alcohol. I posted photos of it. The second I stripped using citristrip (thanks for the tip Stickman) it turned out much nicer.
Forgot the photo.
I also followed the stripping with a wipe down with CLP.
Mine was very clean on the inside apart from a little "overspray" from the coating.
After my previous photo with the lower I posted where it was still a bit cloudy, I remembered the mention in this thread of using CLP. Wiped it down and it looks like jl1288's.
Does anybody have one of the cheap camp uppers they don't need or know if there will be more available? I'm needing two.
