Mine came 2 days after I ordered. Obviously quick because I'm about 2 miles away but last time I ordered they shipped next day. Both were via USPS.

I called Brownells about the M4 lowers and was told mid November expected arrival date.

Was that for backordered ones...? That certainly seems like a long wait for items ordered that were in stock. Brownells is typically pretty good about that sort of thing.

I know this isn't exactly on track with the original topic, but how did your Colt uppers turn out? One of mine looks kind of like paste or glue was slopped through it.

Yes one of my three looked pretty bad on the inside. That was the first one I stripped using denatured alcohol. I posted photos of it. The second I stripped using citristrip (thanks for the tip Stickman) it turned out much nicer.

I also followed the stripping with a wipe down with CLP.

Mine was very clean on the inside apart from a little "overspray" from the coating.

After my previous photo with the lower I posted where it was still a bit cloudy, I remembered the mention in this thread of using CLP. Wiped it down and it looks like jl1288's.

Does anybody have one of the cheap camp uppers they don't need or know if there will be more available? I'm needing two.
