Fightlite SCR Raider pistol (uses standard AR upper + custom carrier)

Apparently Ares Defense has revamped into Fightlight and has a "featureless" pistol coming out.

IMHO For .556 this is stupid, but it is kind of interesting for the .300 blackout crowd. I wonder how reliability is with that hinged action bar system and what trigger pull feels like.

I'm curious how awkward it is to charge the thing. The FAL looking carrier ding-a-ling must be acting on some super stiff spring to allow removal of weight and length from the cycling process. It appears that a person would have to use their support hand to hold the pistol by the forearm then yank like no other with strong hand.

    7.25" 5.56 DI with a muzzle brake is a no-no.

LOL Liberals complained that the founding fathers couldn't have foreseen the Ar15.... So Ares made a AR15 for the founding fathers!!!!

Looks like the nasty-ass bastard love-child of an AR and a Mossy Shockwave or Remmy TAC-14, IMHO...

Ugly, but I'm always down for firearms ingenuity...
