I really like Gowdy. It's a shame he's leaving...but I totally get it.

The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

Gowdy's statements about the DOJ and FBI have been a little to deferential for the past six months. I know his background would make him be that way, but it went past what the politics as a GOP House chairman would be. He is fishing for a new role. Hell, it might just be as a Dean of a law school- but I think his comments about how many more commercial flights he has to take is almost too pat, since the AG would travel on gov jets.

Well gee, apparently nobody, Peter Strzok is still an Agent. So in my opinion, Director Wray is now a part of the problem, not the solution.
If the FBI has dirt on our elected officials, it didn't get taken out with the trash, they kept the trash and the dirt.
