    ADM Recon

A cursory search yields that this mount is well liked, and solid. I received an SWFA 1-4 today, and the search for a mount is on. Any reason not to get the recon? Unless I'm mistaken, it should work well with the SWFA 1-4 I have.

Open to comments, suggestions, and user feedback. Thanks.

The recon is a good, solid mount, and would work well for your scope. They're priced pretty reasonably. I can't think of a reason why you wouldn't be served well using one.

I have the ADM Recon on my rifle (Colt 6920) with a SWFA 1-4 interestingly. I really like it. Solid, steady, the QD mounts work well.

These will be going on a 6920 for me also. Specifically a Trooper 6920.

Would you happen to know if the Recon/1-4 combo would clear an mbus rear sight?

Thank you for weighing in. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the input. I've always used irons and aimpoints, so the lpvo and its equipment are a bit new for me.

Great mount. Reasonable weight. I really like mine.

Mine is the Magpul Edition M4 version of the 6920 I bought five years ago which came with the Magpul rear MBUS. Yes it DOES clear it perfectly. It is a good match. No worries.

ADM makes a good mount, the biggest downside to them is that they are heavy.

Love their mounts, but nowadays I prefer the ADM Scout. Single lever and about 1.5 oz lighter.

Do you think it is as stable as the Recon? Lighter is better, always!
