Anyone ever have to replace the electronics on an RMR?

Got the RMR back on 26 DEC. Works perfect and they even replaced the glass I think, since there was a chip that is now gone. Solid warranty work.

Sure they didn't replace it? Check the serial #'s?

I am curious, mostly because as I said before, I can't find anything in their literature that says a sealing plate must be used for the water resistance to be accurate. I have re-mounted my RMR's with sealing pates to be safe, but still wondering if any explanation was given. Since they did not ask you to confirm it was mounted with one, I am going to venture a guess that it is not required for water resistance.

No it’s definitely the same one. And I told them that it didn’t have a sealing plate. The o-ring was exposed when mounted on my G19 which is why it was no longer waterproof.
