Got to play around with one today in the field. Nice weight and balance too it. I'd really like to own one.

Yes, yes it is. I got into 6.5 because my buddy had the RPR in the middle. Another friend showed up today with the B-14 in 6.5. All fine rifles, but the B-14 seems like a really good factory option without having to do any mods like I did.

Here's the new Bergara 2018 Catalog with some new rifles being featured. I almost feel like selling my HMR for the HMR Pro

I have an HMR in 6.5 Creed. Personally I dont see why I would buy a PRO cause my HMR has everything and shoots! I wish they would have added .223 to the HMR line and not just the HMR PRO.

The HMR-PRO is an HMR with all the "Premier" bells and whistles, right?

I want an HMR, but my cheap Savage 10 FCP-SR works well enough for now...

I have been looking at this rifle for a few months now and stumbled onto this thread. Seems like everyone only has good things to say about it and after handling one in Cabelas, I think I'm going to go ahead and pull the perverbial trigger.

I'm still on the fence on .308 vs 6.5 though from a reloading standpoint, I'm already invested in .308 but I want to use the 6.5 for some really technical stuff.
What are some of you all using glass-wise on your HMRs?

I started out with a SWFA 10x42 MOA-Quad reticle. It's working great for my shooting and I can't afford top tier scopes. A lot of the Bergara HMR owners have Vortex scopes followed by Athlon.

I'm having trouble figuring the difference between the HMR and HMR PRO. is it just the Premier action and Trigger-Tech trigger?..
    never push a wrench...
