Premier action, trigger tech, longer barrel. Pretty worthwhile for the price bump imo.

Yes, the HMR Pro will have the Premier action and the Trigger-Tech Trigger but the barrel will be 416 stainless steel whereas the standard HMR has a 4140 CrMo steel barrel. The action and barrel on the HMR Pro will also have a Cerakote finish.

What is the difference between the Premier action on the HMR Pro and the standard action on the HMR?

Just ordered mine in 6.5 creedmoor.

Now the pain of choosing a scope and the parting of a lot of money to do so.

I'm considering a Leupold Mark 5 or VX3i LRP as the low-end option. With Mil/LE pricing, it is a world of difference compared to the Nightforce discount of a few hundred bucks.

It even beats the Mil/LE for the Vortex options which unless I am wrong, their discount isn't even cheaper than getting off of opticsplanet or a few others I've seen.

Annnnd I just found the Vortex program, so nevermind, that makes a big difference.

So Vortex or Leupold it is, and I'm off to the optics threads!

I’m looking at both the Mk5 5-25 and the Razor 4.5-27 (along with the ATACR) for my upcoming rifle purchase. From what I e read you really can’t go wrong with any of those choices.

Those were the 2 I was looking at. I like the reticles the best. I'm not too worried about anything over x20 magnification so those are a nice bit of extra zoom.
