Yes. But you can also cover the tube in electrical tape where you want the brace to stop.

The block would be if you had longer arms and wanted the brace to sit further back, I keep mine almost all the way forward and its very comfortable.

For a RDS, the larue qd mount with aimpoint t2 seems good. I’m thinking about absolute co-witness. Can someone tell me what’s the difference between those mount options? VFZ...? Wondering what’s the most optimal for a 11.5 pistol.

On the KAC lower, I ordered a KAC trigger guard and like many it didn't fit. So if your also wanting to get the KAC lower goodies (trigger guard, ambi safety, mag release) you might have to contact Knights directly to get the corrected trigger guard.

I was able to use mine on my Noveske so it wasn't a total lost.

The Knights ambi safety works great, just be aware they have different colors. I ordered the gray by accident instead of black but I still like it so I left it on. Their ambi mag release I plan to get eventually but it's not a priority.

Hey sorry about the trigger guard fitment issue on your lower, I tried to let you know in this earlier post. Just give KAC a chance and they will make it right, most have reported getting the new guard sent to them with no issue.

Serves me right for not paying attention.. sigh. KAC is sending me the corrected trigger guard this week. I just finished assembling the lower, took all my concentration for the last 3.5 hours. Yes I’m a newbie and not a handy person at all lol, I bet y’all can do it in 30 min or something.

Here’s the end result of the lower: Vltor A5 buffer kit replaced end plate with BCM qd endplate , Geissele SD-C trigger, KAC lower, sionics lpk, BCM mod 3 grip, sob pistol brace.

Order was placed earlier today for the complete 11.5 sr-15 upper, as well as the aimpoint t-2 with Larue lt660 tall mount.
Now to play the waiting game!
