I recently purchased a Colt 9mm AR (6951). I believe it is finally working reliably. The Rifle has enjoyed multiple trips back and forth to Colt, and 2 different smiths locally etc. But I finally think it is going.
I would like it to be an SBR. All my rifles are short and less weight up front is preferred.
This is a dedicated game gun, USPSA and Steel.
Before I start on the paperwork……
A. Is there more work that has to be done to the rifle other than shortening the barrel once the paper is approved?
B. Are there any problems that can be anticipated?
C. Would it make more sense to shorten the barrel or purchase a short barrel?
TIA
