What do you consider the best range to zero a pistol caliber subgun or carbine?

I’ve heard some people say 25 yards and some say 50 yards. 25 yards makes sense because the short range of a pistol cartridge and is a common range to zero handguns. However I feel the handguns are zeroed at closer range more because of sight difficulty rather than it being the correct or best trajectory.

I will be zeroing my CZ Scorpion pistol tomorrow. Probably at 50 yards unless anyone has a good or reason to use a 25 yard zero.
