Replace 1995 Colt 6450 Buffer Tube

My old Colt has just two butt-stock positions for fully open or fully collapsed. My new 6951 has 4 positions. With the stocks off, they appear otherwise identical.

I cant seem to find a Colt 6951 buffer tube online for sale or any acceptable substitute to out on the older Colt. Ideas?

Them appearing identical with the stocks off is because besides the number of positions, they are identical.

Do you want it to be a Colt 4 position unit because it's a Colt, or a 5 or 6 position extension from another manufacturer to get more flexibility?

A5 receiver extensions are another option, which will work with your lower. You may have better search luck if you call it a receiver extension instead of buffer tube.

There's a 4 position receiver extension with buffer and other hardware from a 6920 in the equipment exchange now
