    Part identification help needed

I was lookin on the internet and came across a Knights Armament SR15 set up that had the same KAC T-1 mount as I do but it looks like its either on a 1 inch riser or looks like the riser and mount are one piece? Can anyone help identify this. IF you know and can share a link, that would be sweet!

I was looking at that mount on Redback One's website and it doesn't look like the one in the pictures above. In the photos it identifies it as a RB1, but it is different.

http://redbackone.com/article.cfm?newsid=44 Shows the same mount as the OP pictures.

Maybe one's a prototype and one's the final product.

Top is picture posted by Elephant. Bottom is IG's link. I think Tom is on the right track. Two piece does seem unnecessary.

ETA- Fought with the picture sizes for 25 minutes. If you're viewing this post, you better appreciate the lack of eye strain you're currently enjoying that cost me 25 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

It’s on Jason’s IG also. He tested the setup for a while prior to KAC going into pre-production.

Anyone have an idea what the pic rail is for behind the sight platform?

And what's all those doohickys attached to the platform?

I believe he has a magnifier base on the rear of the earlier concept prototype . You have the choice to use a magnifier or not to. The RD height works really well for me and I have no problem getting a stable head position on the buttstock. The Scalarworks Peak buis and the TRL-1HL are also out of the way for an unclutered sight picture, yet they are instantly available sighting with underneath the mount, nothing to flip up or down.

Magnifier base makes sense. Gets it on the same plane.

Guess I should have clicked on IG's link above....it says it's for a magnifier.

The one Jason was using is just a KAC micro mount sitting on a KAC riser (Discontinued), which lead to the development of the KAC skyscraper mount Biggy has. Behind it is an Aimpoint flip to side magnifier mount.
