    Best AR15 Trigger

So I'm not certain there is one purely best trigger for the AR but I do believe that there are triggers that are the best for certain categories. I want to hear your opinions. In the video I cover what I think are the best triggers for different categories.

    Best budget/duty ALG Defense ACT
    Best Two Stage Geissele SSA-E
Best Single Stage CMC 3.5 Flat face
    Best Competition Geissele SD3G

I think there needs to be a few more in your poll if can be edited, such as the G SSA for a 2 stage; LaRue MBT for a 2 stage, etc. Actually, which trigger is best for a given purpose will certainly be "mission" specific and personal driven. I use different triggers for different applications.

    That said...Geissele all the way!

I'd like to see it divided into categories such as:

    best patrol rifle/.mil spec trigger

    best DMR/SPR trigger

    best 3 gun trigger

    best National Match Trigger

That way if every one provided input as to why they chose the one they did compared to other's they've tried, a guy could get an idea of a trigger to start with. Likewise, if you saw a trigger that ranked top two or three in several categories a guy might be able to choose a good general trigger to fit his needs.

I can't figure out how to edit the poll, but thats why we can also comment. I've used the CMC, SSA-E and SD3G the most of the ones I have listed. I also have a lot of time with a Timney 4.5, which in terms of break and reset it is awesome. I put that trigger in a lower I built for my dad.

Poll allows you to click on more than one choice. I voted for all of them.

I've been looking for quite a while for something better than the Geissele SSA...Still Looking!

I have or have had an SSA, S3G and SD-E, along with a bunch of also rans. The SD-E is my favorite so far.

Aside from the flat rigger can you really tell the difference between the SSA and SD-E? I know first stage, second stage and overall are lighter on the SD-E, but from using them both can you really tell the difference?

Perhaps someone coming straight out of a mil spec trigger wouldn't, but I can definitely feel the 1# lighter pull of the SD-E vs the SSA. Still, the SD-E is on my 16" 6.8 with magnified optic, which I use for distance and hunting. The SSA resides in my 14.5" patrol rifle with RDS, and I see no reason to swap it out.

    Uronen Precision Modular Trigger Group

A bit on the expensive side but hands down the best AR15 trigger.

I've been using one in my competition rifle for a couple of years and there's nothing I'd change it for.
