For sale is a Mosin-Nagant 1891/30 rifle in 7.62x54r produced at the Ishvesk Arsenal in 1942. This is marked "r" after the [s]serial number[/s] date and was a post-war rebuild at a Soviet arsenal. As is typical for early-war rifles, the machining work and stampings are a bit more crude (see pictured receiver) Bore is frosted but strong (see bullet photo) and it shoots well. Bolt face is clean. The rifle has been stored at 50% or less relative humidity. Includes bayonet, magazine pouch, sling, oiler, and pictured tools. EDIT: Bolt and receiver match. Other parts were force-matched during the arsenal rebuild. Bayonet does not match.
Of note, the shellac was flaking badly and has been replaced with a hand-rubbed BLO finish.
