What is the factory thread pitch for a USGI HK MP5 Navy barrel?

As I understand it, MP5 Navy guns are both 3-lugged and threaded. What is the thread pitch for a USGI HK MP5 Navy barrel?

B&T offers MP5N and MP5K-N barrels in both 1/2 x 32 and 1/2 x 28. Factory correct HK spec is x32. Some people prefer x28 because because it’s more common in the US.

Any info on the Navy tritium front sight? Is that something available in the aftermarket still?

My fullsize clone (original MKE import AT94P) is in jail but came with a tritium front sight, which was a nice surprise.

From HKPro and specifically a guy name G3Kurz (RIP) circa 2010:

    Sicily:
The authentic HK GmbH produced MP5-N tritium front sight was a blade with ring set with large tritium dot made in Switerland called a "Beta" sight made by Taser. It was used for many of the early N models (N's, K-N's, SD-N's). Due to difficulties in importing them and a high unit cost HK Inc. switched to one made by Trijicon in the early 1990's. There were also posts made with a vertical tritium post which are often perferred as they are thinner than the wider blades but also more fragile. Decide on the style front sight you want. Both Trijicon and Mepro make good product.

Both the Trij and Meps are available online. Not sure how easy it is to install the front sight though.
