    FWIW, the 10-7 was made in 1977 (Standard Catalog of S&W 4th edition).

    S&W Military & Police pre-model 10 shipped 1946,

    Yes sir, it is all matching numbers including the grips. When the revolver was delivered (along with its mate that I wish I had), Vern Atkins was Sheriff of Richardson County, NE.
