    Odd, when you look at the dates of mfg, that shouldn't be legit, but again, I'm certainly not an expert and am just going off the published lists of years. Post up a pic of it when you get a chance. Thanks!

    Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

    I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...

    On the PD we always used carnuba wax, now with Glocks it really doesn't matter and I think it is a lost secret.

    I think lost art is true. I know I have used grease under grips and on grip screws of some of my more traditional semi autos. Not that a Glock won't rust.

    Actually would honestly interested in how they used to do PM back in the day. Love me some revolvers and running them, my glocks just do it better.

    This is the wax I use, and it works very well.

    A wee bit off topic but waxing MP5 mags keeps them from rusting as well. Another trick from back in the old days.
