    7 Days in Entebbe

Just saw a trailer for this movie, coming out in 2018. Interesting it comes on the heels of 6 Days.

Netflix has this movie listed as simply Entebbe, at least as of today they do.

Great "feel good about the good guys" story. Hope this new version doesn't try to rewrite history. Operation Thunderbolt occured over our Bi-Centenial, when Israel went to extraordinary lengths to rescue their own when no one else would help.

While a few hostages were killed, I believe the only Israeli commando killed was the leader of the rescue mission, who just happened to be the brother of the now current Israeli PM.

The book on this mission makes for a facinating and compelling read.

    I wanna see this too.

I remember Operation Thunderbolt and seeing something less cannon films would be great. Like Six Days.

Not that I dislike Cannon Films

This is new production. And I couldn’t find anything under Entebbe on Netflix.
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand

    I think.so

There were two. Raid on Entebbe and Operation Thunderbolt.

I liked Operation Thunderbolt because these shaggy haired IDF just went through the plane with MAC 10s and UZIs.

I even had it on VHS

I look forward to seeing it. Slightly before my time, but I had an uncle there as well as guys that latter became friends. My wife has a cousin that was there also.
