LPVO In An Aimpoint PRO Type 30mm Mount??

Anyone use an LPVO In a single wide ring type Aimpoint PRO 30mm Mount??

    will it be too unstable?

I am figuring for 1-4 power it would be OK and double rings aren't really needed are they?

I wouldn't do it. Why would you even consider doing it?

I had a 10x in a factory aimpoint mount before. It worked held zero), though I wouldn’t use it for anything other than range work, like bench stuff , not slinging and running around with it.

Nope. Good chance you'll break or bend scope, with just normal use- using single ring.

Support both ends of the scope tube. A scopes "weak link" is the turret cutouts.

Yeah, $270 for a single ring 1-8 is a bit pricy. That is Kahles territory.

I had an IOR Valdada 3X naked mounted in a 30mm single ring mount, the only way it could be mounted. It lasted about 800 rounds before the scope separated. Basically fell apart. It was used only for range use. Not enough support.
