    Is this Aimpoint CompM2 legit?

    Could you guys help me figure out if this Aimpoint CompM2 is legit?

    I would just call Aimpoint and give them the serial number.
    If plan A didn’t work, the alphabet has 25 more letters.

    Just want to make sure I'm not purchasing a fake. I'll definitely have Aimpoint run the serial, although don't some of the more accurate replicas copy the serial number of the real ones anyway?

    I remember reading somewhere (RECOIL?) that there's 2-3 main serial numbers that get copied by the counterfeiters.

    Surely Aimpoint would know what numbers were being used if it's only 2 or 3.

    They do. Just looked it in Issue 32 of RECOIL and they say for the M2, beware of serial numbers 10338 and 240944.

    Are there any fakes of the bikini and QRP mount? Those look legit.
