DC Republicans don't want to MAGA, they want to maintain the status quo which keeps them fat, rich and happy. Anything that will buck that trend and possibly make life better for the proles is a no-no. They would rather cannibalize themselves and loose control of both houses of Congress rather than improve our situation.

Also remember that there is no penalty for making false accusations against a politician. Expect all 2018 elections to have multiple sex-harassment or assault allegations going all ways. It will fade into the noise by 2020 and then the real sex criminals will have free reign.

No need to expect it, it's happening now. All elections will be run against Trump. Sure if they could find someone else to specifically attack, but they don't need to. All they have to do is run the Dem against Trump. It has a dual impact. It diminishes the real R candidate in several ways and it puts Trump up whom they can say anything about. Plus they know he's going to strike back and say the most bizarre things AND at the same time endorse the R. So it's basically a 50/50 worse case scenario. They can take 40/60 scenario and it immediately becomes 50/50 as a worse case scenario for them. All they need is 1 point. It's f'n brilliant from a corrupt political cesspool war perspective.

They are already introducing the Virginia / Alabama mandate in the media. Even though neither were.

So true. What really blows my mind is that the Republicans time and again find the most absolutely worthless candidate to run to boot. It's all about who's palms get greased, and who gets to keep their power. Nothing more, and nothing less...
