    PTR GI Rifle

Anyone have any experience with the PTR GI rifle? Atlantic has them for a decent price. I’m no HK expert and was hoping a few owners would chime in. Thanks in advance.

Did you already go up to the little search box in the upper right and type in “PTR”?

The GI rifle is supposedly has a true G-3 barrel proflle and proper chamber and fluting. No first hand knowledge on my part.

The one I handled was good to go. Welds good, bolt handle worked properly, no malfunctions with military ball, shot dispersion is what you'd expect for a G3 (around 3 MOA with ball). Not a bad deal for a semi-auto 7.62x51 rifle, especially if you want an accurate reproduction of a classic military rifle.
