Cool Extractor O Ring Bulk Source?

    Yes, I know Brownell's sells 5 packs.

How about a link for a source for say 50, or 100, please?

    Thank you gentlemen, thank you.

Am aware of this thread, but didn't want to top it: https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread...-for-extractor

    Is this the correct product?

That link doesn't work to a product.

I'm kind of dumb so what I did was go to the mcmaster carr site, search o-rings. On that page on the left top column you want to select 'Viton Flouoelastomer' then go down the column to dash number select '006'

That will pop you to a page with 11 different o-rings. One of them (second row, end one on my display) says 'Chemical Resistant Mil-Spec' the part number is 1201T16.

They are $4.82 for a pack of 50.

I know that is probably what you ordered, but just in case.

Your link did not work for me. The correct product is McMaster Carr item # 1201T16

Put that item # in the McMaster-Carr search box and the right product will come up. Here are the details:
    - - - - -
    Chemical-Resistant Viton® Fluoroelastomer O-Ring, Mil. Spec., 1/16 Fractional Width, Dash Number 006

    Fractional Width 1/16"
    ID 1/8"
    OD 1/4"

    Actual Width 0.07"
    ID 0.114"
    OD 0.254"
    - - - - -

I've been using these from McMaster-Carr for years, and they work fine.

    Mc master is generally overpriced.

If you want bulk, I’d suggest you find distributors and contact them.
Gasket distributors should have what you are looking for.

50 for 4.84 equals less than a dime a piece.

Several other places I checked had them at 12.00ish per 100, more than 12 cents a piece.

Grainger has them for the best deal $1,072.00 for a pkg. of 25,000 which equals 4.28 cents a piece.

No, I don't own any of McMaster Carr.

Haha, I didn’t look at the price. Being viton... from McMaster I ASSuMEd it would be more than that.

Found this in another thread from a few years ago. Pricing is still very low. Data sheet here: https://www.allorings.com/downloads/...heet-V1000.pdf

Order p/n V1000-006, Viton o-ring (75D), $5.20/50. Order five bags and they're $2.00 or $2.50 a bag, something like that. For what they charge for shipping, you may as well order a bunch and pass them around.
