I have that one. Its good for getting the barrel past your desired handguard length without buying a new barrel.

Another vote for the Kaw Valley Linear Compensator. No muzzle rise at all, smooth and QUIET (without using a suppressor) as the sound goes forward instead of sideways.

Looks good with a regular 13" handguard/16" barrel.

And people wonder why the Timer gets up on them and shoves the timer next to their port.

"No. I'm not watching the time on the timer to approximate your last shot. That's why we have shot timers and not stop watches. I'd be here anyways so they put a timer in my hand."

I’ve run a 16” barrel with an A2 birdcage, a Yankee Hill Phantom, and no device. No difference in flash, recoil, or POI. Not even with +P loads. Just pick something that you like, cause it’s just for decoration.

Do you plan on a 1/2"x28 5.56 version of the mini comp?

IMHO, there is not enough volume of gas ( in a 16" ) to effectively make use of a Muzzle brake from a 9x19 cartridge.

Think along the lines of adding a brake to a .22LR.... it might help, slightly at the bench.

I know the Lantac 9MM brake I bought wasn't effective enough to justify the cost.

Careful selection of buffers and recoil springs made a bigger difference in felt recoil.
