Looking into purchasing some duty ammo for our sbr’s. I’ve done a. Search but can’t seem to find anything. We shoot 10.5-12” .223/5.56. Something that is accurate and barrier bind for use around windshields and vehicles What’s out there?

Fusion MSR/Gold Dot 62/64gr and Black Hills 5.56 50Gr TSX is where I would begin my search. Black Hills 5.56 70gr TSX optimized is also a hot choice. “The Chopping Block” youtube channel has some reduced velocity gelatin tests.

From what I have seen, all of those are good choices -- I tend to like the extra velocity of the 5.56 loads, however, and that would certainly hold for a SBR. Let me know if you are interested in the 50 gr. TSX.Originally Posted by 1168

Debatable. That stuff is under powered which limits its effective range even. Reduced velocity combined with an already short barrel is a suspect combination.
